IMPORTANT NOTICE
In order to view account information using GBank Online, you must have 128-bit encryption. 128-bit encryption is the highest level of protection possible for all your Internet communications, including credit card use and financial information. If you do not have 128-bit encryption, please click on the link below to download it to your computer. Depending on your computer and your connection speed, download time could take up to 3 hours. If it appears that download time will take a few hours on your computer, stop by one of Guaranty Bank's neighborhood locations and we will give you a customized CD, which will eliminate the need to download the update over the Internet. Passwords
- Change your password regularly. Select a password that is not associated with any commonly known personal identification, such as social security numbers, address, date of birth, names of children. Memorize your password rather that write it down. To change your GBank Online password, use the "Options" button.
Accounts
- View additional information about your account by clicking on "More details" at the bottom of your transaction screen.
- Change the name you use for each account by clicking on the "Options," then "Account" at the top of the screen.
- If not all of your accounts are displayed; you can request that they be added by sending Gbank a secure message to the Internet Banking department through "Contact."
- If you want to remove an account, send Gbank a secure message to the Internet Banking department through "Contact."
Transaction History
- This is your transaction history. It will show your account balance and available balance.
- In the left most column, you can click on the check icon and view a front or back image of your checks.
Register
- This is your electronic check register. It will show your current bank balance, the total for pending transactions, and the register balance – just like your checkbook. Unlike your checkbook, when items clear the bank, an "x" will show in the "Cir" column and your current bank balance and total pending transaction amounts will change automatically.
- In the left most column, you can click on the icon for "Edits Transaction". This will allow you to select a category or enter an internal memo.
- Categories allow you to summarize or group transactions to assist in household budgeting.
- Internal memos are useful reminders that can only be viewed by you.
- To view categories and internal memos on the register screen, go to "Options" and check the "2 Line Register Display" box.
- Contact us via email using this feature.
Help
- The "Help" function is context sensitive. Whenever you are unsure, just click on the "Help" button. This will take you to a helpful explanation of the functions on that particular page.
Options
- This button allows you to customize your Internet banking account. Your options include: changing your password, changing your Internet banking ID, or updating your e-mail address.
- Your accounts can have pseudo names and be arranged in the order you would like to view them.
- Alerts can be set for different balance levels or for certain checks that clear.
