Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Sara Coatney and Brandon Alsup have joined the bank’s Human Resources Department.

Coatney, the bank’s new Talent Acquisition Specialist, has more than five years of human resources experience. She began her career in 2014 as a Human Resources Specialist for Total Highspeed Internet Solutions before joining the Center for Workforce Development at Ozarks Technical Community College in 2017 as an Apprenticeship Specialist.

Alsup joins the bank as its new Talent Development Specialist. He began his banking career in 2008 as a teller and assistant personal banker with Great Southern Bank before joining Russell Cellular in 2010 as its Corporate Training Manager. He served as the Community Marketing Coordinator for the Springfield Cardinals in 2017 and was an eLearning Production Specialist for CoxHealth prior to joining Guaranty Bank.

“We are very excited to bring on two experienced professionals in these key areas of Human Resources,” said Melissa Lloyd, Human Resources Director. “As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, Sara will be focused on finding talent that will help Guaranty Bank achieve its goals and best serve its customers. Brandon, as our new Talent Development Specialist, will then work with our employees to help them continue to develop professionally and to create an environment that will help ensure the retention of any organization’s greatest assets - its people.”

Coatney earned her Human Resources Certificate in 2015 and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Missouri State University as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management. Alsup holds an Associate of Arts in Pre-Law from Three Rivers Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Missouri State University. Both are active in the community. Coatney currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Springfield Area Human Resources Association and Alsup is a Lunch Buddy volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.
